LET THIS THREAD SERVE AS A PLACE TO THANK THE SWIFTIES AND OTHER VETERANS WHO HELPED SAVE THIS NATION FROM JOHN KERRY.
I too say THANK YOU! You have served this country well. We all owe you a debt of gratitude.
Thank you to the SBVs for serving the nation during the Vietnam War, and during this election.

Thousands of years ago, the Persian Emperor Xerxes and 600,000 of the fiercest fighters in the world came to invade and conquer Greece, they faced Spartan King/General Leonidas, 300 of his personal bodyguard, plus a handful of Thebans and others who had volunteered to defend their homeland against them.
When Xerxes offered to spare their lives if they laid down their arms, Leonidas shouted these two words back:
"MOLON LABE!"
"Come and get them!"
In the spot of the battle today, there stands a plaque honoring the memories of those valiant men, it reads:
"Go tell the Spartans, travelers passing by, that here, obedient to their laws we lie."
America's Vietnam veterans stood their ground, and refused to lay down their arms, and in the end, they proved that winning a battle is sometimes more important than winning the war.
To the brothers who fought and fell, and to the ones who fought beyond the war...and won the battle, goes the thanks of a grateful nation.
Well done...well done indeed.

They have stepped up to the plate both here and in Vietnam. They have been maligned once again for telling the truth. If it had not been for the Swift Vets, our Military in Iraq would be being abused and trashed in the same manner as our Vietnam Vets right now because of Kerry's lies. He needs to be removed from the Senate. He should sign the 180 form to release his records or get the hell out of this country!! JMHO
I want to add my gratitude to you guys. It can't be easy taking all of the flak the MSM dealt to you, but as you did so many years ago, you stood firm. I cannot help but wonder this morning as Republicans celebrate their victory if they fully realize just how much they owe to you guys. For whatever reason they were never willing to force the truth about John Kerry, traitor, out into the public. You did, and for that I am grateful.
God bless the Swift Boat Veterans! We owe you more than we can ever give for what you've done for this country!
