Electoral College Projections: Bush 286, Kerry 253

The votes from New Mexico are now showing a Bush victory of almost 30,000 votes with 100% of precincts reporting.

Bush currently leads in Iowa by 11,000 votes with only 36 precincts remaining.

In Ohio Bush presently leads by a virtually insurmountable 140,000 votes with only 2% of precincts remaining.

The facts are becoming clear and now we have an electoral vote total to back it: as LST has called it, President Bush has been reelected with a strong majority.

Senator Kerry currently leads in Michigan and Wisconsin, though neither is enough to reach the 270 votes needed to win the White House.

Counting Bush's New Mexico victory and the projected wins in Ohio and Iowa provides us with an electoral vote total of 286 votes for President Bush and 253 votes for John Kerry.

Thanks for the ping.... I quit about 1:30

The current nonsense results from the Rats need to resolve the issues of provisional and absentee votes to have a precedent.

They know who won but continue resisting on these issues pretending a closeness that doesn't exist. Hillary knows she must have the issue of provisional votes favorably resolved in order for her to steal the '08 election.

Great column. I was up until 3 am central time waiting for someone to say the magic words--"We declare GW Bush for President." No one did. They knew, alright, just as I did. But they wouldn't say it. Maybe they think by not saying it, it wouldn't be so. Idiots.

They know how Adolph Hitler felt in the "safety" of his bunker in his final days. At least no one blew their brains out on camera.

Actually, after speaking to him he corrected me that I had predicted 280- 320, with 3-4 % of the popular vote, so I was right on! Can I have Zogby's job?
