I wonder if Abu-Ans al-Maghribi is this guy (Aliases: Bashir Al-Maghribi, Abu Ilyas). The name given in the article is awfully close to the alias Abu-Ilyas al-Maghribi

Very close match. Does any of our linguists have a clue regarding the difference between Abu-Ans vs. Abu-Ilyas.
