Telescoping seems to be one of those problems that will never go away, because people are trying to make cars that are light but have powerful motors. Worst of the early accidents, by the way, was the Malbone Street disaster in the early NYC subway system. Bad enough, it was, that the city changed the name of the street because of it.
That makes sense.
After 2 car accidents (not my fault);
I drive a heavy vehicle.
No lightweight crumplies for me.
