Yes. There is a small armed forces recruiting station right in the middle of Times Square. It's been there for decades. Maybe they stepped it up because of the Falluja operation.

There is a small armed forces recruiting station right in the middle of Times Square.That recruitng station is legendary in the army. Seems that during the turbulent 1960's at the height of the war in 'Nam, if you were a recruiter at THAT station, you were entitled to combat pay.
