Well now, isn't that interesting cgk. From the article on that thread:
The Transportation Security Administration has issued an advisory that a Piper PA 25 Pawnee crop dusting aircraft was stolen near Ejido, Queretaro near Mexicali Mexico on November 1.

Because I didn't know where in Mexico Mexicali is, I had to look it up.

Located on the US/Mexico border across the from Calexico California is the city of Mexicali, Mexico

Thanks...I wasn't sure which border town it was near. What struck me was the "call TSA immediately if sighted" statement in the release. The last one I read was just a report of a stolen plane, and they didn't know anything.

It's been raining off and on here in S.D. for the past 12 hours, heavy last night. I imagine it wouldn't have been too hard to fly it low across the border if the weather over there was similar.
