Shootout at Saudi cyber-cafe

RIYADH, 5 November 2004 - Seven people, including a wanted suspect, were arrested yesterday in a raid on a cyber cafe in Buraidah, Qasim region. Two security men were slightly injured in the shootout that preceded the arrest.



The standoff began at 10 p.m. on Wednesday when police observed the wanted suspect enter an Internet café in Buraidah.


An Interior Ministry statement later said that a suspect wanted for criminal charges who is a follower of a deviant group was arrested in a public area in Buraidah.

Hmmm, the folks we're tracking said something advising those in Muslim lands not to use cyber cafes.

Right before the castle shut its doors, there was a post that I had translated. I did not save the text, but I did read it. He said he was from this site or wanted them to go to this site: http://ansaralsunnah.4t.com

He seemed to be relating a message that I have seen a lot today regarding helping with Fallujah. He also mentioned the two translators that were caught? Don't know for sure when that happened..
