I know how you feel. As a South Dakotan, I have taken a lot of harassment for being from a state that elected Daschle. The more heavily populated (and very liberal) eastern part of the state has usually held sway over our conservative western side of the state.
UNTIL LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a sweet victory it is.

Can NY ever live that down? I also cringe whenever I see people ridiculing NY, but I know they don't mean to include little ole me and many other NYers (still a minority, unfortunately).
