I also am beginning to wonder if the best Al Quada can do is blow up Iraqi women and children ... and talk "big."
But ... an afraid to relax too much ....
Hopelessly behind bookmark.
"It would impact supplies..."
That is an important statement that needs to be re-emphasized for new lurkers/posters to this thread. Any large scale attack would - at least temporarily - impact transportation. It is important that everyone stock up on extra canned goods, paper products, etc. Just think about what you wouldn't be able to live without for a couple weeks to 6 mos or so. Paper products, like t.p., will last forever and you will eventually use it, so why not buy enough to last several mos now. Imported goods, like coffee and sugar, may be hard to find if transportation is limited. Get in the habit of picking up a few extra cans of coffee or rolls of paper towels when you shop. You don't have to do it all in one shopping trip.
I think that some of us who live in "low target" areas of country may think that we would not be impacted if an attack happened. We would ALL be impacted if the stores were cleared out and no shipments were coming in to re-stock.
Being prepared helps me to sleep better at night too. :>)
Keep in mind that alot of what they post at Sweet Islam is disinformation.
Many of the members post at IH as well.
I agree that the posts that are pulled are the ones to watch.
More discussion of that can be found later in the thread.
Thanks! < g >
" government says about TWA800?"
Stephanopolous acknowledged on live TV on 9/11 that it was a missle...the cat is out of the bag on that one for sure.
"call on someone with energy in the southern U.S. to rejoice."
Bomb?
The White house was on fire that day! I saw it myself on live TV!
"Yasser Arafat's wife says her husband is alive and claims Palestinian officials are traveling to Paris
to "bury him alive."
Down the road, this is going to turn Palestinians against Paris in a big way. They will not accept the truth about his illness and his demise.
Maybe I missed the gist of your conversation about this, but was it about no evidence of a plane at the Pentagon?
If so, take a look at this photo.
Don't forget that OBL said he wants to die in the belly of the beast. For all we know this Hamdan is him.
"the full moon this month is the day
after American Thanksgiving, when all the malls will be full."
If there is a bio attack, this would most likely be it and the secondary economic effect would be to shut down shopping (aside from internet shopping if that isn't hit) at the busiest time of the year.
I am more than a little concerned about the radioactive $100 that turned up in Europe recently.
If he dies in France I think legally she gets the moola. This will not end without bloodshed.
There were eye-witness reports right here on Free Republic of fires and smoke in various locations around D.C. There were also reports of smaller explosions, one I remember in the Foggy Bottom area. The same is true for NYC. Ask some of the residents of New Jersey who could clearly see them.
My own take is that the small fires in DC were being used to direct the planes to the White House which is very hard to see from the air.
I have a friend who husband works in DC. There were several cars in DC that were on fire during 9/11...never made it to the local news...
Oh, BTW, the car fires/explosions were near the White House.
Dean Daughter Among 5 in Conn. Accident
NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - The daughter of former Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean and four other young women were taken to a hospital Sunday after their sport utility vehicle rolled over on Interstate 91, state police said.
Anne Dean, 20, was treated and released from Yale-New Haven Hospital, said a hospital spokeswoman, who would not describe the nature of any of the women's injuries.
State police said Mona El Sayed, 17, of Tinton Falls, N.J., was the driver of the Ford SUV, which is owned by Howard Dean. The hospital spokeswoman said El Sayed was still being evaluated Sunday night.
