The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. |

Oh great. Use our own things against us...You got it, JG. Things like our freedoms and our technology. That's their whole philosophy. I wonder if there's a way to make a camel go up like a small nuke.

I can't believe that they would use English message boards to transmit any operational plans.

Same here, litte jeremiah. I can hit the bug off a bull's butt at 100 yards. Our country is not tapping resources it could be using....:(

It also worries me terribly that the insurgents in Fallujah are threatening to use chemical weapons on our troops, citing cyanide as one possibility.MOABs would render such chemicals inert I believe, as well as the vermin who would use them against us.

I thought it was just threatening sounding. But I would think it is possible that they would use an english board if they needed to contact an english speaking jihadi. But I don't know how many of them there are.

Wouldn't a coded email message make more sense?...I think these messages are just rabbit trails that they like to send people on ....Most likely people from mosques who are not about to actually fight, but can tie down analysts from finding the true goals of the jihadist and the destruction of USA...Didn't NSA say that they were years behind being able to analyst all their intel?

The new image shows me a UBL that is no longer on the run. One that is eating several meals a day. One who no longer fears bombs falling on his head while he sleeps. And an Osama that is most likely being fed and cared for by a two-faced "friend" of the US: Pakistan comes to mind. OPinions? Some country is helping him, of that I have no doubt.

Some opinions about whether OBL is still alive...
Someone said that for someone on the run, in the mountains of Pakistan, he sure has gained a lot of weight, as viewed by the last tape, to change his appearance. If he is still alive, Pak or some other country has to be supplying him and his team with tons of food to gain all that weight in his face. China, Pak, Russia, no way it would be India (or could it be), USA? Just thinking out loud...

No, I didn't. Thanks knak. I honestly haven't had time to go back that far. I'm glad you did. I'll keep digging.

I certainly wouldn't put it past the Pakistanis to support him. They have a long tradition of siding with the mujahidin and those who believe such as UBL. It's also possible that he is in areas of Pakistan largely ruled by local tribes. I know that he has a large amount of support in the Peshawer area. I have read many articles/books that describe the locals as VERY friendly to his cause.
We have heard some recent rumors that he may be in the Kashmir region or in India. Heck, he really could be anywhere as far as I am concerned.
