I'm no expert on such things but I believe LNG in it's natural state is not flammable. But, if you hit a tanker, or pipeline that had LNG in it with a API that was a large enough caliber, you would have quite an explosion.

Don't you feel worse. Life is good. 59 years old yesterday, but you know I still have a good sense of humor, a great family at home and one at FR/TM and cats that need me to keep them in line (not to mention my candidate for President was elected :)) (and my husband could not find a cane or seeing eye dog to surprise me with).

There have been several incidents in the Houston area lately:

Sept 26, New Caney, Tex (30 miles NE Houston) inspectors suspect foul play in pipeline explosion
Aug 19, 40 miles NE of Houston, natural gas explosion in underground storage facility
Aug 2, Texas City, Texas, at Marathon Ashland, explosion

There are several underground storage facilities in salt domes in the Houston area and across to Louisiana where the government stores petroleum (SPR/Strategic Petroleum Reserves)

I don't have access to all the FReeper posts regarding suspicious incidents in the Houston area involving refineries and pipelines. Maybe someone out there does.
