Tom says he "has been up late before and for less meritorious purposes"
He's always slurring. He's Tommy Blow-chow.
His voice cracked and he nearly cried about 30 minutes ago talking about Kerry.
He called Cheney...Chee-nee
can't say I'd want to be on TV now either
I noticed that too. Not sure if he takes a swig during the breaks or he is tired or getting old.
Rather has some speaking problems too.
Part is the subject matter---that Bush won. They are choking up on that. hehehe
I think Ted Kennedy stopped by and shared a fifth with Tom before he headed over to the Kerrys' to share another fifth with Teresa.
Anyone remember the SNL skit where "Tom Brokaw" was recording breaking news statements for while he was on vacation...
"Gerald Ford was attacked by wolves today... and I'm gay!"
Just thought of it becuase of the comment about slurring his speech... whoever did the impersonation (Dana Carvey?) really drew out his words...

I don't think he's drunk, if that's what you mean. But, then again, I am. So don't trust my opinion (hey, I thought this election was 50/50 Bush/Kerry, so don't blame me for having a little happy sauce)
