THE WORD [KJL] "Hearing it's possible that NJ will go back into play. Bush total nationally could be 52. " How sweet would that be? Posted at 10:26 PM

Nice. My wife and daughter (age 12) were whooping it up with the NJ numbers of 55-44. I wasn't going to mention that they were exit polls and no info had been reported yet. Local NBC station and Brit Hume had much closer figures.

Sigh. I would've settled for watching Tim Russert -- my wife aint gonna watch Fox -- but, hell, she's got on the freakin' Daily Show. To make matters worse, we're redoing the living room, so the set is in the bedroom. I'm in the basement now.

Please let this be so. I would hate to lose the last bastion of Republicanism in New England to the forces of darkness!

I agree. Bush would have to win roughly 60-40 for all the rest of the state if the vote is represented by precinct reporting

God, this would be fantastic.

Looking at CNN's website with the state breakdowns, I note with disappointment, but not surprise, that Middlesex County (McGreevey home turf) went for Kerry with 90% of the votes counted. Though it seemed closer than usual for the Dems.

Southern and Western counties are much more Republican. Here's hoping they carry the day.

The hit on Springsteen would be worth it in itself.

As the leftists go down to defeat, again, I hope they are crying in their socialist poreage.

As important as they think they are, the populace of the United States sure puts them in their place when it's appropriate.

So much for the diefication at the hands of Entertainment Tonight, Extra, the Insider, E Channel and other moronic exercises in adulation.

Well Bush got two votes in Jersey that he didn't have in 2000. My wife and me. We just escaped Manhattan. If it comes down to two votes, you will know who won the state for Bush! :)

To be honest, I don't think Bush will win NJ but there is always hope!
