I'm sitting here wondering what the deal is in NJ -- with so little vote counted and they are neck and neck - yet they call it for Kerry. I didn't look at the numbers right away, I was just listening to Fox. They made it seem like it was a blowout for Kerry. I would say NJ is still in play!

Oddly enough, New Jersey is the kind of state that Bush doesn't WANT to win unless he needs it.

With a Democratic congressional delegation, two Democratic U.S. Senators, and a flaming Democratic queer for a governor, New Jersey stands to be a prime target in the next round of military base closings. Nobody in the national GOP wants to owe this state a damn thing.
