Weird. Spector (D) is losing in Pennsylvania as Bush is apparently getting crushed there. What gives?

PA aside, this is turning into a very good night!

It is my impression that the big cities of PA are as corrupt as Chicago. I don't think peoples votes matter to much there. They have ways around those. They probably are so busy fixing the presidential race they ran out of time to fix the Spector...LOL

I've been doing a little PA returns research over the past 1/2 hour (which is why my flurry of posting suddenly stopped ;^)

Here's my take:
About 33% of the voters are in the Philly and Pittsburgh areas (plus some NJ spillovers in the east, and Erie). These areas avoting roughly 60/40 for sKerry.
The rest of the state is leaning Bush, but not as strong, maybe about 55/45 for Bush.

Taking that out means roughly no more than a 51/49 split one way or the other. Bottom line - it's gonna be close still. The thing that will decide it is the conservative T - turnout & Bush's ability to get more %% there.
