Voted early last Thursday...almost wish I had waited until today...just so I could say I went to the polls on THE day.

Praying that God hears our prayers and gives us what we need, and not what we deserve.

I voted with my wife about a week ago. There were about 8 or 9 poll workers and my wife and I. We went back the next day and took our son to vote for his very first time. It was not very busy then either.

Talk about the Texas system being efficent, when I went to the polls today, I made mention that my husband had passed away in August and inquired as to how I could get his name removed from the polls.

It had already been done, I couldn't believe it.

While Bush did take Travis County in 2000 my info is that he won't tonight. My guess is that Bush will lose between 2-4 counties in Texas with Travis being one of them.

Voted at 1pm in west Austin. Not busy at all but the poll workers told me that it had been heavy in the morning and they expected it to pick up after 5pm even though 37% of registered voters in Travis county voted early.

It was so good. Toby Keith introduced them as a family. You talk about 'the house was rocking'. I'm praying so hard.

When I voted here in Brazos County (Bryan/College Station Area) it was fairly slow but it was 9:00 A.M. and they said it had just started to slow down. The morning had been very busy.

Of course I voted for President Bush, Arlene Wohlgemuth for U.S. House District 17, and with one exception, the Republicans that were running.

I did vote to reelect our District Attorney who is a Democrat. He has always done a good job including sending some real scum to death row. The Republican running against him is a dolt of the highest order. If he get 25% of the vote I'd be surprised.

FROM A MASSACHUSETTS CONSERVATIVE:

GOD BLESS THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS FOR GIVING US GEORGE W. BUSH!

President Bush has made up for all those years when I was in the USN, and suffered under the lash of the Dallas Cowboy fans as a Redskin fan!

You Texans are the best!

Pete Sessions (REP) . . . . . . . 73,261

(WITH 40 OF 191 PRECINCTS COUNTED 20.94%)

Lets hope it stays that way.

Arlene Wohlgemuth is down exactly 3,900 votes to Chet Edwards but only 4 Precincts have reported with two being McClennan County which everyone knew would go hard for Edwards.

How far are you from Lubbock? I spent a year in Midland as an intern and could receive KFYO there.

Proud Texan, I am precinct chair for 354, that's Travis Country near mopac /wm cannon. This is a 'close-in' suburban neighborhood and family/professional precinct.
We has 50% of voters vote early - heavy in the morning, light in afternoon.

I've been a bit disappointed we had as many Kerry signs and Dem voters in our precinct ... but then Travis has been and still is a Dem county.

Also I voted NO ON RAIL.
