"If Bush has done well in the early voting...how does that show up in the Exit Polls or do they weight the exit polls with early voting results...."
I don't understand how they figure this either. Anyone know?

No one was politicking at our polling place, but it's not a large ward. We did go a little later (at around 9:30 CST) than usual and the poll workers said it had slowed down from the early morning rush. They do expect a huge turnout after 4-5 p.m. But I can tell you that even the poll workers were shocked by the huge turnout.
I cannot wait until the polls close. I'm going to be a nervous wreck until then.

The way the do it in Georgia is early voting results aren't counted until the polls close at 7 p.m. election day. At least here, there shouldn't be any early voting results until the final results show.

That's what you'd think so then how can the exit polls be all that accurate if they don't reflect any of the early voting?
To: Rebelbase
Hear that poll a coming,
coming 'round the bend,
I ain't seen non-biased
since I don't know when....... I'm stuck here in cubicle city

No, Rosie is appearing today with Michael Moore. If they would just be on the same stage with Mrs. Edwards, the headline might read, "System Collapses Under Weight of Heavy Democratic Turnout."

I think that is why I was scheduled off today! They all know how I would be freakin' out if I couldn't hear what was going on, and there is no way to get to FR at work. That was a smart move on their part--I want this day to be done and GW to have won!!!

"I'm praying we see something like this: LANDSLIDE!
If I remember, that was pretty much the Drudge Report at about 3PM ET on Election Day 2000."
Early voters are Republican by a staggering majority. Felons, welfare recipients, prisoners, etc. don't troll until after dark.

My nerves are shot too. Got up, checked FR, got the kids up, checked FR, got the kids off to school, checked FR, worked out, checked FR, will this day ever end? I really think your post says a lot about what has happened to the MSM. Many of us, ( I know myself for sure,) do NOT watch TV. I check hourly if not more often at FREE REPUBLIC. FR has changed the way conservatives get their news.THANK YOU JIM ROBINSON!!! I get the news here faster and without liberal bias added to it. I have been singing to God, praying, believing for a miracle, reading the scripture today, and checking Free Republic!!GOD GRANT US VICTORY.....
