But are the quasi apolitical, bourgeois, pocketbook voters Americans or are they "citizens of the World?" These anti Americans are the main reasons for the coastal blue areas and the various other blue pockets. Battle ground states are places where the aforementioned herds mix with ourselves.

Notice not only the quantity for Bush, but the difference in spread when Bush is on top.

My wife was nervous until I asked her to look at the various poll averages on places like RealClearPolitics and reverse the names on the polls. That is, put Bush's name on the kerry numbers and Kerry's name on the Bush numbers. Would that make her feel better or worse?

Ohio voter here. Massive turnout in traditionally Republican Butler County. I have never seen lines to wait to vote. We also had a state amendment to define marriage which has got to help because 70% of the state voters agree with the current definition of marriage.
