My direct boss is a Kerry voter, but his boss (who owns the company) is a Bush supporter as is most of the office.

Work in a large office building and there are a few Kerry sitckers on cars and one lady has the W with a red line through it sticker on her SUV. She always has a pissed off look on her face and today was no exception. If Bush wins, she is getting a big W salute tomorrow.

And as a side not, while on a smoke break about 2 minutes ago a black lady exited the building chanting 4 more years, 4 more years!

I was very surprised.

Yeah, but he slammed Zogby the other day. Finally. I've been waiting for someone to target him over his campaigning for Kerry all year. He's referencing Zogby because the guy had a HUGE swing over where he previously had Ohio.

Word is that Zogby is conducting a poll to be released later today. IMO, he wants to try and reclaim his credibility.

I've got a couple wacko libs in my office. They're likely to go postal by the end of the day. I think I'll go work the rest of the day from home. ;)

Libs dont seem to last real long around this place. The Republicans cant seem to keep their opinions to themselves, resulting in democratic depression

Most wind up going home, grabbing the chocolate and eating until obesity sets in - then I guess they grab a welfare check.

Where is George Noory politically?

To the left of Kerry.

If my boss threw a snowball at me something would be wrong. I live in Louisiana.

My boss did ask me to bring him a Bush sign and allowed me to pass them out at work. He told me he was proud of me and that we "could not let the SOB Kerry win".

Rush's insinuation in quoting the final Zogby numbers for Ohio was that the pollsters who may be fudging the numbers a bit in the months and weeks leading up to the election will still want their FINAL numbers to be as accurate as possible, since those are the numbers that their credibility will hang on later. Thus, when Zogby suddenly shows Bush way up in Ohio in his final poll, that's good.

"I give you permission to take the entire day off!"

I see your day and raise it by 6. Take the week off. This way you can recover from the victory party!

I work out of my home, and my work computer is in a different room than my personal use computer. I know that FR has gotten the majority of my time today. (I took tomorrow off because I knew I would be glued to this site, and very tired)

Read on FR yesterday that in 2000 Rush lost his upbeat mood in the last hour or two - apparantly he had some early exit polls - this may be myth but we should listen close to last hour.

Rush's last comments that day were that according to Drudge, exit polls said the race was a DEAD HEAT.

My thoughts exactly, the pollsters must have "got religion".

Ah yes-- it was a breath of fresh air to hear the number 51 so often!

A new customer came into my husband's work and told management that he would never come back if he heard Rush Limbaugh coming from the back (hubby was playing it). They made him turn Rush off permanently.

If he sits at a desk and uses a computer with Internet access, get him a small pair of earphones. Works great!

It will thrill me to walk into the office tomorrow if Bush wins... a huge relief. Sorta like breaking out of a bad relationship. FREEDOM!
