I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I was a member of the IAM-AW for 15 years, my husband still is. In the trade unions, the rank and file are very conservative, and they openly ridicule the union leadership for the knee-jerk Dem activism.

I'm in Central Pa, and it was the most I ever waited at a polling place at 9 am (I was #350). The poll watchers taking names were at separate tables, one for Pubs and one for Dems; mighty short line at the Dem table.

Correctamundo!! I voted "conservative" before I became a union member, and my membership has not changed my voting preferences, and never will...
