Yes, but apparently they care most about cultural issues and being very religious, respect the presdents strong faith. There were a lot of news stories about the Presidents campaign making pitches to them and these stories claimed that many Amish attended some rallies for Bush in PA.

But your right, they are a real wildcard. I don't think anyone knows how many will show up (after all you can't call them) or how good of job the Bush campaign did in reaching out to them. Thats why i was curious if PA or OH voters saw larger then normal Amish turnout at their precincts.

I guess we will have to wait and see and keep our fingers crossed (as if they aren't crossed already!).
