Balkan Islamist Circles Report Surge in Rumors of N-Strike at US
You can count on one thing: if this happens, Russia, Israel and India will have no bones about nuking their enemies, because their paranoia level will sky rocket: and since between the three their enemies are pretty much every major muslim nation: my suggestion to none Muslims: RUN.
Actually, our "allies" Saudi Arabia and nuclear prolifirator Pakistan are even worse. Russia is building Iran a nuke reactor, that does have duel usability. Pakistan is giving them actual nuclear bomb material and knowledge and missile technology, but we do nothing to stop them, so as not to piss them off?
send it to the Threat Matrix crowd.
There are actually about 1,200,000 Muslims in the Uinted States, about 300,000 of whom are converts from the African-American culture. It is imnpossible that there are twice as many Muslims as Episcopalians, when I've never even seen a mosque anywhere.
That's why it also stupid for out culture to slowly commit suicude by trying to appease such a small group by suppressing normal expressions of Judeo-Christian heritage.
Come to NC to any of the major cities, you won't have to go far to find a mosque.
We have almost 50% nation that is intent on restraining us and therefore preventing us from defending ourselves.
Before we have any chance of defeating Islamic Extremists we will need to deal with their allies within our midst. Those who have already infiltrated our borders.
Millions to die in the Third World War.
Wind is good, dry is better.
Forces of freedom on the march! Europe trembles!

I've been saying this since 2001.
When the asymmetric war became obvious and the SMs* launched their multimillion $ propaganda campaign to remind us that they were "untouchable", because our Western sense of justice, fair play and morality prevented us from doing the obvious. First we would need to sacrifice thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, both military and civilian deaths to "prove" we are "good" people.
For each SM* killer, there are 10 immediate bodies providing money, training, preparation, support, material, planning. For each one of those there are a hundred who have direct knowledge of exactly what's happening and for each one of those, there are a hundred who suspect what's happening. Do the math.
The perfect silence in the SM* muslim world tells me all I need to know. I would just start with their capitals. Make it clear ASAP that every SM* muslim capital will get attention in proportion to the severity of the next SM* terrorist attack. Starting with their most valuable targets. If the Euroeunuchs even think of intervening, and they are already petrified of the muslims among them, let's see how attractive a nuclear exchange sounds to them. The next SM* "nuisance" within the continental U.S. should be interesting.

Careful.
Some tiny brains here might suggest that is a "racial slur"
Either on or after election day. If Osama bin Laden can make good on his threat
(included in the un-filtered version of his recent tape, as described in:
http://www.memri.org/bin/latestnews.cgi?ID=SA1404 )
to punish the people of individual states whose electoral votes go to Bush, he will have executed another "9/11 category" coupe, and generate even more enthusiastic supporters to join his gang.
He is less concerned about influencing our election than recruiting large numbers to his cause.
I still think he is shooting blanks. If he had bullets, he would have used one before today.
I can't think of a single way to convince a Kerrey supporter that the damned things are missing, short of dropping them on his damned foot.
So why bother?
No, I am not joking. And to those who want me to include Saudi Arabia on the target list, I'd say that I am not totally disinclined to do so. However, my original comment was directed at nuclear terror, and as far as I am concerned the real threat here is Iran (and also N. Korea, as another poster helpfully reminded me).
Now, it is true that terrorist support from Saudi, be it ideological or financial, is quite high, and quite fungible globally. The same was and is true of Pakistan as well. However, at present (and i wish to stress that), neither poses quite the nuclear threat that Iran or NK do. Fear of America has supposedly dismantled the AQ Khan network from Pak (though I am personally rather dubious just how much), and has dismantled Qadaffi's program (maybe i am a bit lest dubious here). I suggest that a comparable threat to rogue nuclear powers like NK and Iran will have a knock-off effect on Saudi, much as Saddam-in-a-jumpsuit had on Qadaffi.
I guess my real point is that we should leave a crystal clear and unmistakable public warning that we will wage conventional and thermonuclear heck on them if they don't reign in their nuclear threats and ambitions. And if they do try to test us, then we should utterly annihilate them as a threat to civilization.
I think they'd have a very difficult time making that case, since Muslims aren't a race. But thanks for the heads-up, P.
Well, it should be obvious, even to the dimmest wit, that right now the SMs* worldwide have zero incentive to root out the killers among them. Indeed, they keep training more.
Personally I would keep it more proportional. Say one square mile of every SM* capital for each terrorist incident in the U.S.? Conventional weapons should suffice.

And to think the US intervened in the Balkans to save Muslims from slaughter by the Serbs.
Whether or not ot will happen depends on how the election turns out.
If President Bush is re-elected, it won't happen.
If John Kerry is elected you can count on it happening.
Just another reminder that being a "smooth talker" does not assure any mental horsepower whatsoever.
I can't help shaking my head every time one of these Neocom brainiacs (Clinton, Carter, Kerrey, whoever) makes a really really dumb move and expect the "unexpected consequences" not to materialize for the whole world to see.
