Man talk about a phoned-in poll. And I mean that in all ways.

What's come very clear is that the polling outfits don't have a clue..

Final poll was 49-47 Bush among LV's. The added sauce and came up with 49-49 by guessing that undecideds break for the challenger. A poll totally conducted on Halloween weekend. Their state polls are counter intuitive as well. Only one thing to do, vote on Tuesday.

The 49 49 is Gallop guessing at the undecideds.

I really doubt the conviction held by some Freepers that gallup and other major polling organizations make up their results every week for various hidden motives. Now Gallup, which many said they were waiting for as the true poll, supposedly "made up" it's preelection poll to "play it safe." Ok, and if Bush won by 8, just how would that make Gallup look good?

The poll may or may not be flawed but they did not make up their result to "play it safe."

I predict that after this election Gallup will lose all credibility.

The national poll, conducted Friday through Sunday, interviewed 2,014 adult Americans, including 1,866 registered voters. Of those, 1,573 indicated they were likely to vote....

Yes...Bush ALWAYS will poll worse on Friday-Sunday...

He has his worst days on Rasmussen, Zogby and WAPO on the weekend. It isn't a bit surprising to me.

The state polls I have always thought to be the best are Mason Dixon. I don't believe any poll at this point. It truly comes down to GOTV.

Now we are dismissing even Gallup. At least we still have TIPP and Newsweek

I don't believe that President Bush lost 5 points in less than a week. I mean we all follow the news and it seemed that Bush was making gains in Democratic States. IMHO, MSM is putting pressure on Gallup. MSM trying to rattle President Bush base.

this seems to be the trend, even for the so-called "fair and balanced" FNC - no one wants to be wrong, so they all call it even and just skip the issue.

I had to laugh listening to Brown explain the methodolgy for the final projection. Yes, LV is 49-47, but Gallup has taken the undecideds and -through Gallup's methodology- assigned most to Kerry, boom 49-49. Ha! Brown couldn't even keep a straight face reporting this farce.

Yeah, Fri-Sun poll? I'm actually feeling pretty decent going into Tuesday. Not comfortable by any stretch, but confident. A weekend poll that has the President ahead before Gallup's own special sauce.

Watch where things break. As of Friday night, many many people hadn't even heard of the OBL tape yet.

Let's GOTV people!

Has Bush up in WI, IA, PA but losing in MN, FL, OH. Has us down 4 in FL when last week up 8?

All previous polls were lies. 8 up was manufactured to create complacency and move resources to other states. This is the poll that Gallup bases their fees on next time.

It is 49-47. The Final Gallup that has historically been counted is the one with Likely voters.

The Big number is JA --51%. Incumbent over 50%, Incumbent wins.

As for thier state polls -- they get a big WTF? THey are almost all totally opposite of everyone else.

Kerry up in FL and OH and BUsh up in PA -- Like I said, WTF?

I think this poll is political and Gallup has refused to call this race for Bush...cowards.

FGS, somebody call this damn thing.

I'll call it. Bush by two even after the fraud.

I don't care if Kerry wins by 20 in Rhode Island. I don't think it will be close on Tuesday. I really don't. This election will allow us to get to sleep at a reasonable time on Tuesday.

If Kerry wins, either by cheating or by honestly getting more votes in states with more EVs, then this country will get whatever it deserves over the next four years.

My poll = these polls suck. They will be proven wrong as Christians come out of the wood work this election along with the Jews for Bush. My poll = 54/45 Bush wins. Sneak attack.

I'll take a 269-269 tie. If that happens, the House chooses the next President.
