That graphic is not correct. The accompanying story confirms ALL these polls were conducted Oct 26 - 29.
This is unbelievably good news!
Well I've read the story three times and I maybe mi-reading it, but the way I read it is between the 10th and the 18th.
Perhaps I'm over looking something.
What graphic are you talking about? And this disclosure is part of the text: "Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Inc. of Washington, D.C. conducted these polls from October 15 through October 18, 2004."
Yes, if you go to RCP and check the individual states like AR and FL, these numbers have NOT been previously posted as Mason-Dixon results. We haven't seen these numbers before. These are all NEW numbers, and RCP has posted them as such on their front page. The article older date range is wrong and the Oct 26-29 dates must be correct.
That said, this is a set of great state numbers, including winning in the majors FL and OH. The ones we're losing are just within a point or two, showing how close these Blue states are to tipping over.
What's more is there is still time for improvement with these numbers. Also Bush is near or above 10 points higher approval ratings than kerry in most of these states and the jobs numbers in Ohio are about even.
