My Bush sign was stolen a couple of night ago too. (Many have been stolen around here.) We know it was there at midnight, but it was gone at 6 a.m.. Now who is riding around in the wee hours, just to steal signs? Thought it over and here is a possibility: the guy who delivers the newspaper, the same paper that endorsed Kerry in an editorial and slants every story against Bush, against Republicans. I wonder if the delivery guy has the back of his van filled with Bush signs. This probably sounds paranoid, but it makes sense.
I did see a garbage truck on the interstate last week that had a 4 foot Kerry banner across the back of it. The banner was covered in sh*t, though it certainly wasn't intended that way. It was very ironic and very fitting. As to the sign theives, remember that most of these Kerry types are unemployed and have nothing to do all day or all night. So they head out to suburbia and wage war on Bush signs.
Our local sheriff's office had some officers stealing them in one of our elections. I know because I was working for the opponent and caught them. Once you catch them publish their names in the local newspaper with their vehicle license number. Let them explain that to the voters (including their family, friends and neighbors). They didn't seem to be so proud of it once they were caught.
