It wasn't until the second plane hit the second tower that it was obvious that this was a terrorist attack--there was a misconception that the first plane was a small plane which hit the tower accidentally. I haven't seen Fahrenheit 9/11 so I don't know if Moore makes anything of the interval between the first two planes hitting their targets (and whether OBL is getting that idea from Moore).

I personally believe that THE reason for the 2 planes / 2 towers was that we had ignored other terrorists incidents (like flight 800) under the Clinton administration (choosing to say they were caused by something else). The Al-Qaeda leadership was determined to make a strike that could not possibly be written off as something else.

How many big jets in the US have crashed since we discovered th 'shoe bomber' and started watching that more closely???

Moore made something of The President's initial response to the news that a second plane hit at the WTC. Today, so did OBL.

President Bush handled the situation honorably.

The Dems seem to forget that Clinton was offered OBL via Sudan around 1998. Clinton declined. Poor choice.

Totally by coincidence, this morning my husband and I watched FarenHYPE911 (put out to refute the bastard Michael Moore's lies). We bought it on DVD. I can not and will not repeat the conversation we had following watching this documentary. We both wept watching video from 911. We cried even harder watching wounded soldiers and slain soldier's families react with horror that they or their loved ones had been used to harm this country, its' armed forces and this President.

After going to my son's Halloween party at school, I worked the phone banks for President Bush and when I got home, I discovered this breaking news. I am beyond flippin' furious. UBL spouts to the letter the majority of the lies in Moore's propaganda film? Words have failed me, the emotions of today are too large and too raw to truly explain how we are feeling. God save the United States.
