Bingo. Remember how Bush Sr. used to repeatedly mis-pronounce Saddam? Pride goeth before a fall, and taunting your adversary is a classic tactic - turn the enemy's own pride and fury against him. When he already hates you as much as a man possibly can, there's nothing to lose and much to gain.
