The first thing the mathimaticians and others (cryptologists etc...)did was test the 'book within the book" by running the ilad, Moby Dick War and Peace etc.
Those books when used will not deviate from statistical probability. Moreover they will not be "three dimensional.
Let's say dad write voluminously to mom from his post in WW2 Europe. His love letters when collected and skip code tested wil probably surprise you when, say the date mom and dad met turns up. And then the names of his childeren and or other connections turn up. This is all within statistical probability
BUT Dad's love letters WILL NOT have the names of his childreren WITH their dates of birth connecting, the name of the disease that crippled one CONNECTING. The date of the incident CONNECTING. That childs wife's name CONNECTING. The date of his death CONNECTING. Dad's demise CONNECTING. The name of the guy who hit him crossing the street CONNECTING.
In short, the statistical probability of what is in "the book contained within the book" is is IMPOSSIBLE and NOT REPRODUCIBLE WITH ANY OTHER BOOK.
