Hannity and Newt Gingrich predict a win in Florida. I just heard it on the Hannity radio show.

I would totally expect this to be the case here in FLA. The Democrats are scared that their votes wont get counted, or that they will be disenfranchised by some mechanism on Election day. There is that paranoia here. Don't let this early voting fool you.

Well said! - I know that my household like many others have not voted in these early election schemes. Remember, Florida was close in 2000 and all the votes were cast on Nov 2. I am still studying the Ammendments section to make sure I cast a WELL INFORMED VOTE!

Bush is very strong here in Florida - as Sean Hannity says, let not your heart be troubled

If so, that would explain why Cheney said today on the Rush Limbaugh Show that he was "cautiously optimistic" about winning

Hope that's true, but if it isn't, what do you expect Cheney to say--"things don't look so good for us now, we're grim"?

"Hannity and Newt Gingrich predict a win in Florida. I just heard it on the Hannity radio show."

What else would they say? Sheesh people, stop stating the obvious.

We are voting on Tues. for GWB & I know loads of other Republicans are doing the same here in Fl. This time I hope all the Panhandle Republicans are able to vote without the abc's giving the state to the Democrat without waiting for the time zone differences. Hope its not another nail biter. Jeez, I've been biting my nails for a month already due to the stress.

Why desperate for both?

By "desperate for both," I meant it could be interpreted, hence spun, that way by one side against the other. Dems will say we're going there because we're doing so bad, we have to scrap together any EV we can get. And pubbies can say this shows Kerry's in bad shape, that it's so close in a liberal state he's sending his surrogates over there.

I'd expect him to say something more noncommittal, like, "We're working hard and hope to win."

This is silly. Florida is like California. Very Very different large areas. If you polled San Francisco early votes it would be 90% Kerry. If you polled San Bernardino it would be 90% Bush. It all come to get out the vote. Will the Bush haters be more motivated then those of us who know the only way we win this war is to never surrender!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm waiting to Nov 2.. as are probably most conservatives as we always do.. Less votes for Kerry on Nov 2 will be a good thing.. more drama as Kerry looses..

This will be used to swing moral and support...sheeple like to think they are voting for a winner...if some sheeple think Kerry is winning, I can influence voting...this is why I am soooooo opposed to early voting (other than sealed absentee)

I think after the election, Congress should take up the issue of "early voting."

Doesn't the Constitution specifically say something about elections shall be held on a certain Tuesday in November???
