PITTSBURGH -- Teresa Heinz Kerry called attacks on her husband's foreign policy views "Neanderthal" while meeting with current and former Republicans who said they plan to vote for Sen. John Kerry.
"The perpetration of certain myths that diplomacy and alliances are a sign of weakness is Neanderthal," Heinz Kerry said at the Kerry-Edwards presidential campaign headquarters in Pittsburgh. "I never heard of teaching a child to make enemies so they can get along in the playground."
Heinz Kerry spoke after listening to six people -- including business owners, a retired Air Force general and Pennsylvania mayors -- talk about their disillusionment with President George W. Bush.
One person in the group -- Susan Cosgrove, owner of a local communications business -- called herself "an angry Republican who feels my party has been hijacked and whose values have been trampled on."
Cosgrove is married to a Vietnam veteran who, like Kerry, protested the war when he got home. She chided Bush for not serving.
"They (Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney) are the kings of dodging and deferment, and they should not be the commanders in chief of this country," she said.
"Democrats will 'continue to resist any Neanderthal that is nominated by this president' for the federal courts, said Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.)."
Hannity was just talking about her comments on his show, he has Zell Miller on now.
You can take a pig out of the slop but you cannot take the slop out of the pig.
Skank.
Neanderthals for Bush!
Everyone with at least half a brain is backing Bush.
Hey, I resemble that remark!
Even half a brain tied behind a back!
OK, so GW should nominate the premier Neanderthal - Teddy Kennedy and let's see how he would fare in the confirmation hearings; i.e. experience, integrity, legal acumen etc.,
That would be an educational experiment.
The pastor of my church ( a great guy) leans democrat...He commented how he like TERAZUH and how should could speak 9 languages....I said, "Yes, and can't tell the truth in any of them...what a pity."
Ms. Cosgrove is not a Republican, regardless of her shameless and transparent claim.
LOL. Yes, I believe Rush is backing Bush.
Or...
John could have divorced Teresa, ran off with her money, married Howard Dean, who then had a sex change opperation and plastic surgery to look just like the ketchup queen and is now out on the campaign trail again saying outrageously stupid things againg. All the while, the real Teresa's on planet Neptune listening to Elvis tunes sung live and in person by Elvis himself. Hey, you got a better explanation? Has anyone seen Dean and Teresa together?
Yes, you have to pretty talented to be foolish in nine languages.
She's the one who married Alley-Oop!
Wow, governsleast, you making this lil ol graniie's heart go thumpa-thumpa!
Not that you mention it. I haven't even seen Janet Reno and Bigfoot together either!
Love the attacks on Bush and Cheney for 'dodging and deferments'. Where's the complaints directed at Kerry for his deferments and what about Kerry parading the ultimate draft dodger Bill Clintoon around with him? The audacity of these scumbags knows no limits.
I am beginning to get convinced Kerry is trying to lose. Why in the world would they put TaRAYza in front of former and current republicans who are thinking of voting for Kerry?
Heinz Kerry has got alot of class...however its all low.
If she hadn't married into money, she'd be in Tijuana
right now giving $2.00 lap dances to drunk Mexican sailors for burrito money.
I don't want to mislead you. Yes, that's me in the photo, but it is slightly out of date. It was taken at my bar mitzvah in 8400 BC.
