When asked for a response, a senior advisor to the Kerry Campaing stated "The wreckage of the ship is a prime example of yet another failure of the Bush Administration, and its total neglect of the global environment and its disregard for the safety of ocean going travelers."

Raveh, who has studied more than 200 stone anchors, said he discovered the huge anchor -- 8.2 feet long, almost 6.5 feet wide and 1.6 feet thick --
An 85 ¼ cubic foot stone anchor? If it is an anchor it would have to be a mooring buoy anchor and not a ships anchor. If made from sandstone it would weigh 12,361.25 pounds. I wouldnt want to be on the crew that had to pull that thing up.
