THE MYTH OF THE 'MISSING EXPLOSIVES': A SHAMELESS LIE
New York Post ^ | October 28, 2004 | RALPH PETERS

October 28, 2004 -- SHOULD the United Na tions decide who be comes our president? Sen. John Kerry wouldn't mind. He's shamelessly promoting the lies that the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency is telling about Iraq. A devious IAEA report suggests that 400 tons of explosives were spirited away by our enemies under the noses of our Keystone-Cops troops after the fall of Baghdad. The document just happened to be released in the closing days of our presidential election. Purely a coincidence, of course. Brought to you by those selfless U.N. bureaucrats who failed in Iraq and are now failing in Iran.

Since Kerry's willing to blame our troops for a scandal invented by America-haters, let's look at the story the military way, by the numbers.

Our soldiers eliminated more than a thousand tons of packaged death for every ton the United Nations claims they missed. Does that sound like incompetence? Why hasn't our success been mentioned? Can't our troops get credit for anything?

great Post! This is the clearest and most concise statement of the case against the UN, IAEA, NYT, CBS, JF'nK conspiracy that I've read so far.

AS to the question above....WHY can't John F'n Kerry give our troops credit for anything???

The amount of explosive destroyed by U.S. troops 400,000 tons
New estimate of explosives Kerry is referring to 3 tons

Percentage this amount Kerry is talking about is 0.0000075 of total.

Last, these explosives were gone when we got there.

Senator you have no case!

Wait a minute, John Kerry has stated, for the record, that he has always been for our troops...except that time he voted against the $87 billion supplemental...oh, and that other time he voted against their pay raise...and that other time when he voted to slash the intelligence budget(bad intel leads to dead soldiers)....and that other time when he wanted to cut the size of the military.

I'm JOhn KErry, and I support our troops... when it's convenient... unless I can get away with not supporting them.

Did I mention I've led troops in battle? Wanna see my purple hearts?

The UN knuckleheads remind me of a bunch of Les Nestman's (of WKRP) and his imaginary office walls
