Nothing further. Freaking Russians ...
Why wouldn't Saddam have boarded the plane??
Seeing how desperate the NY Times is to change the subject, I wouldn't be suprised if they run a front page expose on GWB jokingly flipping off the camera.
Somehow I just can't get the picture out of my head of
Karl Rove leaning back in his chair and
LAUGHING HIS ASS OFF right about now!
"Gertz did a Carl Cameron?"
No, not Gertz.
I got my copy at Wal-mart for about $10. I think it's worth seeing. A few interviews brought tears to my eyes, such as one with a wounded soldier who had his interview with a reporter taken completely out of context by Moore.
Congressman Pete King
He was attacking from the start and trying to control the debate.
Neil was too nice to him. All the things Kalb said are refuted in this Gertz piece.
Kalb even said the economy was bad.
I will be so Glad when we can stop this leftist diatribe on negativism in order to destroy a Republican Admin and remake America in their own image.
Pete King! called them the new Axis of Evil
he he he prob will.
and then it gets out that the Bear and the Eagle worked togeher to get the WMD out of the terrorists reach - and keep our troops from getting slaughtered.
Who could go in there and get them out? the Bear,
Saddam fell for it....later realized he'd been suckered ad cawled into a hole
Maybe he figures he can wait out the insurgency... The guy was an idiot, remember? He could have fled Iraq with billions, but he wants to run Iraq and thinks he's invincible...
the US knew of this all along....there was no way the russians could get in and slip out that many trucks without our EYES in the Sky seeing it.
So this leaves you to think....could Putin have teamed with Bush to pull one over Saddam's eyes? Could they have hammered a deal before the war under secrecy? Could this be why Putin endorses Bush?
I bet more will come of this.....It also seems funny that all the republican senators were always blasting Germany and France but not Russia.
Good for King!
I think he said that the axis of evil was the U.N., NY Times, and John Kerry.
Either Putin thought he was gonna help out an old pal and then got caught in the eye-in-the-sky and has to cover his you-know-what, or he and Bush had it worked out...
France would have welcomed Saddam with open arms like they did Khomenie(spelling?).
I hope so. I've always wondered why the Bush administration didn't hit back on the critics of "no WMD, blah blah blah" even after the Duelfer report came out.
Let me put a different angle on this story.
The election is Tuesday. Conservatives are going to pound this through Tuesday.
The MSM has two choices. Ignore it and allow this to go unchallenged, and in process confirm suspicions they are in the tank for kerry. They did that with the Swiftees and look where it got them.
Or, respond and try to salvage their reputations and stem this election from being too lopsided in favor of G.W.
My guess they'll take the second road, which means it will be spoken of in the MSM because they have no choice. Ignoring it is too risky with the growing influence of our nuMedia.
Now will they report accurately? LOL perhaps not, but it'll be spoken of and we'll have a full court battle between Old media and New.
Gertz gave them enough to go to the Pentagon and get their own stories.
I can just see a sKerry last-minute flip-flop during a quickly staged Rather interview.
Kerry - (Looking directly into the camera) "Ladies and gentlemen, let me be perfectly straight. The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction was real, I've always been consistent on this. As I've always stated, we needed to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believed that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands was a real and grave threat to our security."
Rather - "Senator Ker..."
Kerry - "That is not a flip-flop. That...is not a flip-flop."
