Since you've started this line of thought - and I need to qualify that I doubt there will be a 9/11 or larger attack on or before the election...

Kerry keeps bringing up ship containers. Is there something (intelligence) he knows that is being kept from the public? I guess if I were a terrorist, this would be a good option. I still remember when I read Clancy's "Executive Orders" a few years before 9/11 that the 747 into the U.S. Capitol seemed plausible.

I think the reason Kerry keeps bringing up the ports is because Hilary has been griping about them since 9/11 - think about it, most of Kerry constituents live in California, Oregon, Washington, New York, Maine, etc. port cities, so he is just playing to his base. Besides, I heard Brett Baer say one day that the ships have been checked at ports before they leave for US and then selected containers are also checked here.

My thoughts about the media and how they get away with the crap they have done this year regarding Kerry: If you think about it, the press is so much more powerful that even the Presdent. If the president says something that is untrue, there will be a hearing and he will be forced to testify under oath. If the press wants to lie, the site an unknown source that will spew the lie, and then when asked who gave the information, the press can hide behind not "revealing their source", therefore they can lie, lie, lie with impunity, rarely are they forced to spend actual time in jail for being in contempt and in the meantime, the lies have done their damage.

Possible, of course. The part Drudge said that was on the Al Qaeda video is that we Americans "would not be able to count our dead."

That could because the scenario Al Qaeda has in mind is not simply the dead being innumberable, but simply because access would be denied due to the radiation inherent in the attack. Therefore, an East Coast harbor ship-based, or Long Beach, CA harbor attack is already on our feds' security folks' top-o-the-to-do-list marked "Areas we need to shore up security."

Everything Kerry attacks the President over can be tied back to something he knows from his intelligence access and knows that in order to combat what Kerry is claiming the President would have to disclose secret or top secret information. Like where the HMX and RDX really is and who hauled it away before the war.

Go back and look at how Kerry has attacked the President especially in the debates. Pres. Bush knows the truth and so does Kerry but Kerry knows the President cannot say anything because of security. Kerry cares nothing about security and knows that President Bush does.

That is exactly the way that back-stabbing, selfish liar operates. Kerry is extremely dangerous to this country because of the way he plays with National Security to benefit himself. Who cares if anyone is hurt, as long as he gets his power.
