I'll say I am concerned deeply about this, especially if it as it appears to be, originates in America. This sort of thing trumps the election, and I think we all know that. We cannot allow ourselves to be bullied like Spain. We have the ability for massive retaliation - such as a nuclear strike on Mecca and Medina (not Medina, Ohio). Spain does not have that "luxury". Kerry is very anti0nuke and would never under any circumstances deploy nuclear weapons in a war. He has more or less said this. We need a President that is not going to take any response off the table. Our families depend on it.

I am dismayed at alot of responses on this thread. Change the names and it could be DU. We are screaming about ABC, etc and we don't know how all this came about. Some treat this as a new thing in the campaign.
I think this is serious. We thought it would happen. We ought to quit this unseemly speculation of who will be helped in the election. That is just me saying it, I truly don't mean to insult anyone.
Actually seeing DU posters ask if they should be afraid is comforting. They are really human beings like us, and if some of them can see this as something to be worried about (we all have families) then imagine the effect on the rest of the country.
MOST DUer's are either under 20 or are liberal college professors.
