I checked out DU...they seemed a little freaked out... a couple of the responses read "should we be scared?"

You might mention a few preparation for safety - storing water, batteries, and see if their concern increases. Can you imagine the fear of isolation from Starbucks in the slacker DU crowd when the reality sets in? We really are at war. It might get ugly. I am thankful I live waaay out in the boonies.....

I should mention that and see if that fuels their concerns. I rarely visit their website, but I must admit it was a little humorous to actually be able to tell that they are fearful....now they know how we feel at the mere thought of a Kerry election!

I live way out in the boonies, too, but I'm so close to D.C. I work there, so, oh well! No worries.
