ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

Dave Westin is president of ABC news and would have been the one to give the order to hold the tape from the CIA.
If this election cycle has done anything--it has completely exposed MSM for who and what they really are--the agenda they have.
We've known it for years. The non-political types have not known it for years. I look for ABC, CBS and NBC completly gut their News division and stick strictly with their cable News divisions.
Apples and Oranges. The Rather crap did not effect the National Security of the United States of America. ABC holding on to this tape for more than the time it took for them to view it is a criminal act. As soon as they knew what it was (and they certainly should have since they are so sure where it came from) they should have been on the phone to local Homeland Security authorities or the FBI. No excuses whatsoever will change that fact.
If I was part of ABC I would want to make damb sure it is real.
Drudge has put the other headlines back up now. I've never seen him clear his site of all headlines but one!!!

There - you've got it right! We have all known the possibility for some sort of attack was likely before the election. Every day we get closer to the election with no attack sort of compresses the likelihood that it will happen today... Don't know if I've made sense of that or not.
We have this focus on all issues as if they are campaign props - some things transcend politics, though who we elect WILL impact how we react to the threats.
Let's just pray - even for those at DU. No one wants bloodshed to prove a point.

Yes, setting off a national panic over a fake tape would be the end of ABC. The only argument here at all is when did they give it to Homeland Security? Beyond that, we have to take the threat seriously until proven otherwise.
This will be a clear message to the American voters on "who the terrorist want to lose" and "who do they want to win". The answer is very simple, the terrorists want President Bush to lose and Kerry to win.
Hey, how about it is a video from Al Queada about an attack and ABC does not want to release it because it boosts the Presidents ratings.
Either that or they are putting Full House back on the air.
