I have been watching the Freeper Presidential poll on the sidebar for about a week. It seems to have a few Liberals trying to push the percentage toward Kerry.
It's not like it matters but the desperation of the Kerry supporters is just amazing.
Where is your sense-of-adventure, egg?
There is no way in hell 12% of Freepers are voting for Kerry.
They'd have to be pretty stupid to waste their time DUmping on our polls.
Ah, you noticed the Mobyites. A while back some dumba** rocked named Moby said that liberals should infiltrate conservative forums, blogs, etc and pretend to be conservatives. They should spread doom & gloom, try to divide the real conservatives, and cause as much mayhem and in fighting as possible.
In the world of talk radio, they're known as "seminar callers". Rush and Hannity get them all the time and they all follow the same pattern.
Caller:
a. "I voted for Bush in 2000"
Then they rattle of the standard DNC talking points.
I have noticed there has been a concerted effort the past week especially yesterday and today of newbies signing up trying to pose as conservatives. Hopefull Jim Rob is all over them.
I posted this in Chat yesterday, but it needs to go here.
The bargraphs for this poll are misleading.
Total votes for each candidate by MEMBERS should be divided by total votes by MEMBERS. That's one bar.
Total votes for each candidate by NONMEMBERS should be divided by total votes by NONMEMBERS. That's the other bar.
With this programming change everyone will be able to see how members and nonmembers are voting, so the results will be very clear.
What are they trying to prove? That they are stupid, besides whoever heard of a lunatic Liberal that can actually rationalize, if you know of one please point them out, because I have never met one yet, it must be in their genetic makeup,it is a imbalance, it causes them to always veer to the left.
I'm voting for that nice man from Massachusettes, I know he will be a great leader of the infidel Americans, we can be very good friends when he gets elected, along with Mr. Chirac, and Mr. Putin, and Mr. Schroeder, and Mr.Kim Jong of No. Korea, and maybe even Mr. Annan at the U N. Signed..Mr. Bin Laden
Before you leave, be sure to post your vote on the last chance poll! It maybe the deciding factor!
I propose a modest revision:
"How would you describe liberals?
A) DUmb
B) DUmber
C) DUmbest
D) DUh - All of the above
OMG ... what is wrong with his face
John F. Kerry
2,029 votes - 12% (189 member votes - 1%)
That's a lot of trolls
lol! The Dims would no doubt launch after your poll, trying to get the "All of the above" category over 90%. ("Quick! Go vote 'All of the above' because the other two choices say we're dumb!!!")
Their site is lame, so they come to ours. It's that simple:)
Our polls are just as silly as any otherinternet poll, alhough that registered users count is a nice feature.
They don't just join to vote, some stick around & post one nasty post & then get banned, others have been here for a long time & ARE trolls, just waiting to pounce! Beware!
"We need to have a poll like this:
How would you describe liberals?
o Dumb
o Dumb
o All of the above"
They'd probably choose all of the above.

The main problem with the poll results is with the FR software posting the results. They are posted incorrectly, because the math is faulty. See below.

I'm scrambling to find it!
The whole non-member votes idea is a little experiment to see if I could write a voting system that would not become skewed by rampant fraudulent voting (can't stop people from voting more than once on the Internet, but I can sure slow 'em down.)
The biggest problem with this implementation is that it allows people to vote who do not otherwise visit the site. I could work around this by tracking site usage, allowing votes only from people that probably read the site, but that's a whole lot more work than I'm prepared to invest for this thing at the moment.
Regardless, somebody sure is getting the word out about FR. My evil plan is working. Muahaha. (Too bad the mods are going to zot me for bringing on a horde of Kerry voting trolls. Oops!)
