> You deliberately ignore my points and focus on the side issues.

That's because the side issues are the ones actually under debate. You keep focussing on strawman arguements like "atheists lecturing Christins on how to live as Christians." You make that nonsense up out of nothing. Watching you debate is like watching Creationism in action.... things just "poof" into existence out of nowhere.

> just don't be surprised when your complaints fall on deaf ears.

Religious comments very rarely fall on deaf ears. Dogmatic ears, incapable of critical thought, yes... but rarely deaf.

> I had no idea it was sinful for Muslims to drink.

And knowing that now, would you do it again? If you saw your Muslim friend getting sh1tfaced now, would you say nothing?

No. The side issues are side issues. The one issue we are "debating" is whether or not Christians should care one whit what atheists have to say about how Christians are living out their faith.

You keep focussing on strawman arguements like "atheists lecturing Christins on how to live as Christians." You make that nonsense up out of nothing.

No. That is the debate. That is what we are "discussing." My position is that what atheists think about how Christians live their faith is irrelevant. You seem to take the other position.

Watching you debate is like watching Creationism in action.... things just "poof" into existence out of nowhere.

That's amusing, considering I have not strayed one bit from the issue at hand (see above) and you are all over the place and cannot resist snotty, cheap shots.

Religious comments very rarely fall on deaf ears. Dogmatic ears, incapable of critical thought, yes... but rarely deaf.

Deaf, in the sense that NO ONE CARES what your opinion is on the matter. Why should a Shinto give one whit about my opinion of how to live out the Shinto faith? I am not Shinto. Therefore, he would wouldn't care what I have to say about it. How hard is that to understand? How simple do I have to make this for you?

And knowing that now, would you do it again? If you saw your Muslim friend getting sh1tfaced now, would you say nothing?

I would tell him that Jesus can set him free of his addictions, just like He set me free.
