The Kerry camp is misrepresenting the truth about the missing explosives in Iraq and has released a new video full of more LIES and HYPOCRISY:

REALITY CHECK 10/26/2004 evening:
Tonight, NBCNEWS reported: The 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives were already missing back in April 10, 2003 -- when U.S. troops arrived at the installation south of Baghdad! An NBCNEWS crew embedded with troops moved in to secure the Al-Qaqaa weapons facility on April 10, 2003, one day after the liberation of Iraq. According to NBCNEWS, the HMX and RDX explosives were already missing when the American troops arrived.
"The U.S. Army was at the site one day after the liberation and the weapons were already gone," a top official commented from Washington late Monday. The International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors last saw the explosives in January 2003 when they took an inventory and placed fresh seals on the bunkers.
Dem vp hopeful John Edwards blasted Bush for not securing the explosives: "It is reckless and irresponsible to fail to protect and safeguard one of the largest weapons sites in the country. And by either ignoring these mistakes or being clueless about them, George Bush has failed. He has failed as our commander in chief; he has failed as president."
A senior Bush official e-mailed DRUDGE late Monday: "Let me get this straight, are Mr. Kerry and Mr. Edwards now saying we did not go into Iraq soon enough? We should have invaded and liberated Iraq sooner?"
Top Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart fired back Monday night: "In a shameless attempt to cover up its failure to secure 380 tons of highly explosive material in Iraq, the White House is desperately flailing in an effort to escape blame. Instead of distorting John Kerrys words, the Bush campaign is now falsely and deliberately twisting the reports of journalists. It is the latest pathetic excuse from an administration that never admits a mistake, no matter how disastrous."
Why is the U.N. nuclear agency suddenly warning now that insurgents in Iraq may have obtained nearly 400 tons of missing explosives -- in early 2003? NBCNEWS Jim Miklaszewski quoted one official: "Recent disagreements between the administration and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency makes this announcement appear highly political."
An election?
A Kerry Presidency? Maybe never?
I just realize another thread also covered this but did not find it with search function.
I do think that Mr Kearney and Deadwards are making Bush's point about Iraq being a threat.
This may actually work in Bush's favor. If we keep up the pressure, like in the CBS NG scandal.... There is still a week to go, let's help the MSM eat their own and Kerry's.
Desperate measures for a desperate campaign
There is no downside to Kerry for doing this. He won't loose his base if caught in a lie and he's more than willing to use a lie to gain new voters. He hopes he can keep any voters he gains with this lie due to the confusion he and the MSM is creating.
These are 100% communist tactics. This kind of propaganda is unbelievable.
Media Watchdog: 'October Surprise' Blows Up in Faces of NY Times, CBS News
There you go again! ;-)
I 'll Tell you what It takes. Bush needs to stand up at a rally and lambast both Kerry and the NYT's. Asking both why they would use an obvious election LIE. To hurt our efforts in Iraq which they both are against. As well as calling our 101st Airborne guys liars and incompetent.
They just haven't learned WHEN TO SAY WHEN. Mega Bump: http://kmclive.com.
Pure calculation.
"What will it take for the Media to get these lying bastards to stop lying with such impunity."
For now, probably nothing.
What I'm wondering is . . .
How might we file complaints against the likes of CBS for blatent attempts to influence the election? With the Federal Elections Commission, the Federal Communications Commission . . .?
Is there a creature akin to a Class Action which might be directed their way? Surely, someone with legal qualifications might have suggestions how an interested public might take collective action.
And where, exactly, were the troops while the NBCNEWS crew moved in to secure the facility? That's the question that needs answering...
True. It also shifts attention from his super-liberal record, his other lies about Vietnam, his flip-flopping, his embarassement of a wife, etc. etc..
