Scott Peterson's Defense Could Rest Tuesday Scott Peterson's defense team could rest its case Tuesday.
On Monday, his lawyer called on Peterson's mother to try to explain why he had nearly $15,000 in cash on him when he was arrested. She says she gave him back $10,000 that she accidentally withdrew from his account.
His lawyer also questioned police about whether someone else could have been responsible for the death of Scott's wife, Laci, and her baby.
Prosecutors say he killed her and dumped her body into the San Francisco Bay nearly two years ago.
The defense maintains ........
Peterson doesn't have a prayer for an overturning of his conviction should that happen. He got a million dollar defense. Most people could never mount that kind of defense. And Geragos did work on his behalf. There is no question there. He simply didn't have anything but lies to work with. And when your client has his voice on wiretaps lying his face off there is not much a Defense Lawyer can do with that!!
I'm not exactly sure what to make of #5 either. I frankly think he just wants to look like a Doctor/Lawyer/super educated fellow. He, of all people, should be able to put the pieces of this thing together.

Imagine, his brother actually using Scripture in a very unscriptural manner. There isn't a truthful thing that has come out of a Peterson mouth yet. I don't see how that is going to set Scooter free!! GAG!!

Just beore I leave I just wanted to let you know that Abrams apparently has the transcript up of a call between Scott, Jackie and Lee. It's called a deadly game. It's when he's telling his parents that the DA has offered him a deal not to seek the death penalty against him if he tells them where the body is!!
They're gonna LOVE Scotty in prison...can you say "Fresh meat?" I think you can!

I think the juror has already made up their minds... Most are convicting scott, (by way of the talking heads, and those who attended the trial), there are a few to watch though....All pending on which side to believe.... Gads, I hope at least guilty...but if 1st or 2nd is an issue...at least guilty is forth right!
Rambling..... almost night time for me.... Was in the hot spa outside for a few.... hubby had it up to 103 degrees....Wheeeeew!!!!! steamed up.....lol....

a person who was on the Nancy Grace radio today, called in and discribed the court room atmosphere..... She attended the time when the DA witness on cement was on and stated that is the only time she physically saw Geragos sweating.... He is cooked....
It's not the truth.... It is the jury at this point!
He'll be showing his face from under Jackie and Lee's bed as an embedded reporter.
