Please tell me this isn't so. Don't want him back. Tired of the excuses. Winning the SEC would be nice.

Steve Spurrier? This is the same coach who left his team high and dry without an explanation. He quit just before the recruiting season.

He is a poor excuse for a coach. This team must be desperate to accept him back.

Spurrier shouldn't have left Fla in the first place. Flopped in DC. Comes back to Fla flop again. The magic has run out, Stevie boy.

I hope that that nose-picking Steve Spurrier does come back, so the Dawgs can get their sweet revenge and romp on his ass! GOOOO Dawgs, sick em, whoof whoof whoof! I knew he had been seen on the campus of UNC and there was speculation he might come back to Florida, so we'll soon see.

You have to admit: The Gators ruled the SEC under his wing

You're so right. It's hard to believe that someone used to eat Fulmer's lunch. :>) Besides, Tennessee is currently under a microscope and their old ways of doing business are about to change.

Gator has been a regular on the Rebels training table for the last couple of years.

Not at the end. He was going downhill for several years. He couldn't beat FSU, he lost the SEC championship several years in a row. He was on his way out. That's why he quit. The way he quit was disgraceful to his team.

He was going downhill for several years.

Excuse me but he had at least 8 wins all the time he was there. Of all the times that FSU might have beaten the Gators, the sweetest part was beating FSU for the National Title.

Florida Gators? I thought Miami and Florida State were the only Florida college teams. Am I wrong? :)

There is also another far-fetched rumor that Spurrier may go to UCLA, but I wouldn't put any stock into that.
