I know why - back in the 1930's my father told me that Roosevelt was a communist. Even at that very young age I was stunned. Now I know - Ann Coulter made that very plain in her book quoting the Verona (?) tapes.
Roosevelt adored Stalin and had in mind a socialistic government in America following WWII. There were at least 130 identified Communists in our government during WWII and after - Alger Hiss, one of the identified commies, was the leading State Department advisor to Roosevelt.
IMHO the State Department is still riddled with Commie leaning people - I can only hope that someone finally takes charge of that department and fixes it.
