Looks good and I like your 'jumping words' and the little James Bond gif. Your profile page looks great now!

I think that I remember reading that there was a connection between that guy from Detroit that was named in the Volker Report and the Alamoudi dynasty, as well. I seem to remember something about that trip to the Middle East that was arranged for the anti-war congress members (including Chuck Hagel). It really doesn't have anything to do with Wilson, though.

Is the Detroit guy you're thinking of David Bonior? I haven't found a direct connection between him and Wilson, but they did both have links to the Alamoudis and the antiwar movement's Congressional allies, and I think there are signs of coordination at those levels. I've been writing up something on that I'll be posting shortly--meant to get it out this week and didn't quite make it.

I realized after I typed that the Detroit guy you mean is probably Shakir Al-Khafaji, who also financed Scott Ritter's movie, right? He paid Jim McDermott, who went with Bonior to Baghdad; and Bonior in turn received a campaign donation from Abdurahman Alamoudi on other occasion for lobbying activity against anti-terrorist legislation--that's why I thought of him when you mentioned Detroit and Alamoudi, but then I reread and realized he wasn't in the Volcker Report so you probably meant someone else. Sorry for any confusion.

I made up a separate blank text Jag.jpg so I can simply add font or a transparent BG text .gif or black BG text .jpg on that basic image

Boxer may need a Hillary version to join her

Just finding the right head is the trick

Wilson’s contact with the ATC also brought him into contact with his future wife, Valerie Plame, whom he met while receiving an ATC award during a reception at the Turkish embassy in Washington.

It is clear why Mr. Wilson was at this event, but why would Valerie Plame be there?

We now know that Ms. Plame had been a covert agent, her appearance at this function would have had to be cleared with her superiors. Why would she be there if not on official business?

I've been wondering the same thing, and haven't come up with an answer yet. Was Plame working on Counterproliferation yet at that time? This would've been early 1997, and would've been about the time the CIA recalled her from overseas assignments, reportedly due to concerns over Aldrich Ames.

PS to add on a thought I just had: maybe she was there in her capacity as an "energy analyst" for Brewster-Jennings, i.e., to make contact with people at the Turkish embassy who might be of interest to the CIA.

Reportedly there is a link between Valerie Plame and Judith Miller in the AIPAC scandal.
That prosecution is separate from Fitz' case so he may not have juridiction over all the
Plame/Miller stuff.

Wilson, a lifetime Francophile, had spent the bulk of his diplomatic career in former French African colonies like Niger.7 His second wife from 1986 to 1998, Jacqueline, had served the French embassy in Burundi as a “cultural counselor" (a function often used as a cover by French intelligence)

Let me see if I understand the timeline: Wilson is married to Jacqueline who is working for French Intelligence.

While Joe is the spouse of a French Intelligence officer, Joe has his hand in Valerie’s panties so she will sing like a canary that she works for the CIA as a spy.

Valerie Plame is outing herself to the then current spouse of a French Intelligence officer. This is all prior to 1998.

Am I missing something?
