The mods need to start pulling any threads with the words "October Surprise" in the title.
The trolls are probing us to see what makes us freak. Their threads all have "October Surprise" in the title.

I just want to know if he is going to have Gertz on or somebody and break the Powerline story. I've been dying to know what it is.

Yes, I agree. EVERYONE! think back through the entire year.. the "60 Minutes" hit pieces, Michael Moore, the countless hit-books, the NY times 50+ page one stories on Abu Gharaib, and the continuous re-hashing of the Bush National Guard story. Why would you expect the MSM to do otherwise? Kerry is Losing, and badly, and the Libs are out in force to sway an election.
The Times has made no bones about its bias. We must stay focused here. Get out there and vote, vote , VOTE.

Bad?...lol
Do you also sleep with a light on so as not to be scared of the dark?
This is nothing...jeez.

Maybe the Times can explain how the terrorists moved it, did they line up some tractor trailer trucks and just take it away? and where did they put it?

not a newbie troll and I didn't start this subject. I was surfing, saw the headline and posted the link. I don't agree with much of anything at Talking points memo, but thought people might like to at least see what the story was about rather than just the blurb from drudge.

First of all check my date and then go check my posts. There's a reality you don't get. This story and its timing are not aimed at the denizens of the web. It's aimed at the so called security moms and others who trust Bush more than Kerry. They're not going to know or care that this is 'old news'. It's page one above the fold in the New York Times. It will play hell with the President's credentials in the eyes of a lot of people. Maybe they should know better, but they don't and there isn't a hell of a lot of time to educate them.
Maybe the Reps have to learn how to play this game. When it comes to October the DNC and the media sem to know the groundrules better. As for Rush. The voters this is aimed at don't listen to Rush. There's 44% of the electorate who right now would vote for Joe Stalin over the President. We're fighting over 6 % of the electorate. Stories like this do our side no good at all.

Up by 5 in Ohio!!!
There will be dirty tricks played by the DNC; just hang on everybody and make sure you vote and everyone you know votes.
Also, call your local Republican office and ask how you personally can help combat voter fraud.
I did that and will be volunteering several hours on 11/1 to review all the absentee ballots in our county to ensure they are legitimate. These offices can use the help!

Bingo. This thread needs to die.
Hit "Abuse" and tell the mods to pull it.

I guess it's Bush's fault for WMD's finding their way to Syria and god forbid Iran!!!
My husband is at STRATCOM working for DOD. Right after the war started I heard high placed people civilian/military saying the wmd's went into Syria. We know they did. Remember reading about the CIA firing shots at Russian truck going into the Syria border. They were mad we fired on them. We knew what they had, but could not prove it. All the dems want to say that there were never wmd's bull. And they know it. If we find wmd's in Syria it will reinforce Bush because he has stated several times (along with other officials) that they might have gone over to Syria. If you check my postings in the last 3 months, you'll see I have been saying the wmd's will turn up in Syria. (although, could have been moved in the last year)

It's over, it's all over, that's right. We're doomed, fer sure. Goodbye everything good and noble. Hello hell. Prepare your end of the world cocktail. It's all downhill from here. Syonara. Splitsville. Opus for the end days. The end is near. Goodbye cruel world.

Where would the Traitor be if he didn't have the MSM??
To: Toonces T. Cat
Yup, the story is that the theft of the high explosives was "hushed up" to save political embarrassment for Bush that Kerry has courageously exposed. These explosives have been killing US troops ever since and it's all Bush's fault - if he'd only foreseen this possibility and ordered the confiscation of all munitions in 2003, all this could have been avoided, don't ya see.
And if you don't think the Times can make this nonsense into an October surprise, you don't know the MSM.
To: oceanview
If Bush had just listened to our military and sent in 3 million troops, this wouldn't have happened. (/sarcasm)

I think you're missing the point. This is an attack on Bush and his handling of the war in Iraq. Bad news a week out, since the rest of the MSM gets their news from the NYT front page this is all we'll hear for the next couple of days.
