We just got a tip......that a major newspaper will break a front-page story Monday morning that could create a serious problem for the Kerry campaign. We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness.
We'll watch for the story Sunday night and post it as soon as it becomes available.
Interesting.
When the tip comes from Huggy Bear?
I agree with you - I am of this generation - the generation that's all Woodstock and Haight Asbury - drugs, sex and anti-war protests.
I fear that a Kerry win would install the worst of all our generation just a time that our nation needs an adult to get us through this war and then leave a semblance of the America I grew up in, to leave to our children and grandchildren. Unfortunately, you may be right that this generation under Kerry would let the past and future generations down.
I just got word that bin Ladin is secretly hiding in Kerry's townhouse on Beacon Hill, and kerry is planning to arrest him in front of the cameras on November 1.
Didn't Teresa say that bin Ladin would show up at the last minute before the election?
John Kerry is "Manny Or-tez".
They are having fainting spells at DU. *snicker*
"Washington Times, NY Post, Manchester Union Leader, WSJ Editorial Page. I think that about wraps it up."
It might be the Washington Post. They have been pretty fair in their coverage since Rathergate. Plus, they have been vituperating JK quite frequently. I suspect they have had their altercations in the 20 years Kerry has been "serving" as Senator.
Let's not speculate anymore. The DU's are here already and trying desperately to find out what the story is. Let's keep quiet. Drudge is already working and investigating the story, I assure you of that. Powerline is keeping quiet, too, they don't want to fumble the ball. So let's stop the speculation because it will detract and distract from the story. Let the DU go crazy for the next 36 hours. Visit Drudge and Powerline at least twice daily, we may get more hints...
Alert: Indcjournal.com has an addition.....keep an eye on the Washington Times specifically.
Something the Kerry campaign will have to address, supposedly it is that big.
>>Sunday siren bump.<<
And I have to add that the Pajama Posse will spread it around the world in lightening speed!
Unfortunately, I think you are right. Bill Clinton could have cut the heart out of a child and chewed on it in front of the press and they would have said "Gee, it is amazing how he can compartmentalize?"
Hmmmm......
Interesting. Now off to the grocery. LOL Maybe I'll catch a hint in the check out line via the Globe, Enquirer, Star, etc......
If it's major, maybe the WSJ. Just a wild guess, but could it be that charitable donations from Teresa and John actually are funneled to organizations with ties to terrorism?
WaPo
My first thought, too. WaPo is not as much in the tank for Kerry as some of the others.
All of that would be assuming this rumor is true, of course.
Maybe the others are illegal aliens.
I hope you're right. I've been afraid that the October surprise was gonna come in November.
"Philosophical question for the forum: when is a tip not a tip?"
After the Bris?
I'm afraid I am with the posters who feel that as far as the Dems are concerned it doesn't matter - wouldn't matter because it has NEVER been about Kerry------is has always been ANBODY BUT BUSH therefore, I don't think anything having to do with Kerry will make any difference.
I am very nervous and cynical so I hope I'm wrong - also, the Dems have been begging their voters to vote early, and there have been reports of heavy voting in Florida and other swing states so those ballots won't be affected.
Well look, I'm obliged to be dubious about this, but suppose it is true... Could there be some Kerry connection to Food-for-Oil or some similar type of program?
