I'll be sending Todd a link to this thread if anyone would like to send along their regards.
Tell Todd that HE IS THE MAN! ...and if you can send me an addy, I'll be more than HAPPY to buy him BBQ tools, and send them ASAP. :-)

Great idea. Here goes. Todd, I can't tell you how glad I am that you are on the way to recovery. It would probably help if you refrained from burning off your body hair but BBQ can be worth it. I want to tell you how proud we are of you and all of our brave souls taking on one of the most important missions of our lifetime. Mostly, we are grateful in ways that cannot be put into words. Coop, let us know how the barbeque tools thing goes so he doesn't end up with hundreds of sets, unless that would help.
LOL!
BBQ and music while under fire.
People said I was a 'crazy' 13B (what artillery type isn't?) he sounds like he'd have fit right in with us!
(I'm also jealous, he got some BBQ'ing done! I haven't had one yet this year!)
Tell him, from this former 'undisciplined 13B', "Thank you for being there and for being in uniform, Marine. HOOAH!"
Well, we'd like to send Todd our warmest regards and thank him for his service.
Todd, we're proud of you, we support you and think you'll be part of the next, Greatest Generation.
Please be safe, we are very proud of our young men and women. YOU are keeping us safe.
thanks for all you do. If you freepmail me we address can get the tools your buddy need to BBQ, sounds like he is close to where my youngest son is.
Coop, thanks for posting this letter. I sent it to my daughter who will send it out to her officemates. They all have adopted soldiers in Iraq.
Please give Todd (my son's name too) our regards. We hope he and others there stay low and come home safe.
I love that they try to keep the American traditions...bar BQing and all that. Send him and his fellow soldiers my thanks and appreciation. If the soldiers are smart enough to not want Kerry as their Commander In Chief, that's good enough for me.
Thank you for your service, Todd. We are all very proud of you!
