Be very scared of the draft, if Kerry wins

Subject: Be very scared of the draft, if Kerry wins.

Be very scared of the draft, if Kerry wins and you or anyone you love is of draft age. Kerry winning will very likely end up causing a draft; the reasons are because the military is spread thin, Kerry has alienated our alliances, and Halliburton has said over and over that if they don’t have enough protection for their employees they will pull out. So, lets see what will more likely happen if Kerry is elected.

First of all, Kerry has alienated our alliances. These countries will more likely start pulling their troops out. THIS MEANS WE WILL BE THAT MANY MORE TROOPS SHORT.

Second, Halliburton will pull out because their employees will not have enough protection. This means that military personnel will have to fill these thousands of empty job positions. THIS MEANS WE WILL BE THAT MANY MORE TROOPS SHORT.

Third, the military is already spread thin. THIS MEANS KERRY AS PRESIDENT WILL HAVE TO BRING BACK THE DRAFT. This can cause another Vietnam and thousands of lives lost, because Kerry will want to save face. Remember he said, “Just because Bush couldn’t do the job doesn’t mean that he can’t do the job.”

NOTE: Right now, the United States is training Iraq troops so that they can take over and we can bring our soldiers back home. I hope that we can be smart enough on Nov 2nd to give the Bush Administration the opportunity to accomplish this goal. This is a heart felt message from Sadie.

You forgot to mention that Kerry said he plans to add 40,000 troops. Where's he going to get that many troops without a draft?

Kerry has alienated our alliances. These countries will more likely start pulling their troops out.

So has Bush. And some of the allies we have are already on record for pulling out their troops next year.

Halliburton will pull out because their employees will not have enough protection. Halliburton employees are already threatened. And they haven't pulled out yet.

Third, the military is already spread thin.

And Bush hasn't done a thing about it expect spread them thinner.

NOT...Kerry will suppliment all future engagements with crack UN surrenderers.

O.K., if you or anyone you love gets drafted don't say you were not warned.

You don't think that he would try to save face, since his life will not be on the line. That is the type of coward I see Kerry as. This coming from the wife of a Vietnam Era Vet.

Another reason.. I've talked to soldiers who have said they won't re-enlist if Kerry is elected.. They don't want to serve under him..

I would not re-enlist either, but I know that they can call you back. Right? I think that is what all my children are facing. If the draft happens. Am I right?

You overlooked another very important factor. A huge number of good military people are going to quit if a treasonous commander in chief, who has a long history of giving aid and comfort to our enemies, is elected.

If Gore had been elected, we'd probably already have a draft. Many excellent military people were planning to exit to avoid serving under the hapless Gore whose own Tennessee constituency loathed him.

I'm proud to say that my son signed up months ago. He's on delayed-entry and leaves in January. His dad and I are very proud of him.

It would take congressional action. Right now Congress can't agree on the time of day. First, it would get bogged down in committee, and if it gets to the floor of the House and/or Senate, expect lengthy debate and amendments. One of the big issues would be the registration of women.

Don't get me wrong, I believe W should have called for authority to draft in his 9/11 address to Congress in 01. The country would have backed him. We should already be registering women.

Kerry would initiate a draft more for reasons of class warfare than anything else.

I'm sure that they will be very upset too, if they can't get lots of purple hearts to be able to get out.

I'm proud of him too, for his sake and all our soldiers sake I hope Kerry doesn't win.

I only hope that my son doesn't have to serve under the traitorous kerry and his prettyboy side-kick. How I dispise those two! My son dislikes them both as well, but he says he will serve whomever the commander-in-chief is, though he is a huge (hugh? - LOL!) Bush supporter.

seriesly!

And don't forget that Kerry wants women to be eligible for the draft as well!

Heaven forbid, if he is elected and institutes a draft, I would be eligible. My husband-to-be will be past draft age (26) next summer but I would have two more years of eligibility. It's not that I wouldn't WANT to serve, but my brother is already serving now. Perhaps if I was 18 and unattached, I'd feel differently, but the military is not the place for me at this point in life. I feel that it's my role now to be an engineer, a wife, and a mother - not to be forced into military service because of Kerry's incompetence. Leave the fighting up to the young men and women who VOLUNTEER to serve this country of ours.

Democrats tend to view the population as cannon fodder. Draftees were paid $90 per month and a large percentage were high school dropouts. Nixon put an end to the draft and initiated the professional military, something that is necessary for the modern high tech military.
