ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- College students say they are much more interested in politics this year, more likely to identify with a party and more likely to vote, a new Harvard University study shows.
And it appears a majority of those responding to the survey intend to vote for Sen. John Kerry.
The Harvard University Institute of Politics surveyed students across the country in October.
The institute began tracking students' political leanings in 2000. Since then, there have been some remarkable changes.

18 year olds should definitely have the right to vote. Not all of us are relying on Mom and Dad's money and buying into the liberal left's lies. We're old enough to fight for and die for our country. I live in Boston, MA - one of the most liberal places in the USA and I know many people who know more about history and politics than most adults out of college. Many of them are also Republicans. Most of us pay taxes, not as much as adults out of college but we do pay taxes. And for the records, a decent number of us would do better on a voting test than most adults over 21. Would you like to take the right to vote away from them as well?

Science has learned that the "judgement part" of the brain, especially in me, isn't really developed till about 25. This might explain things like Jackass and any spring break anywhere in the world. For every "prematurely mature" young person who would vote sensibly...there are ten thousand who would vote like idiotic sheep. I can't change it, it won't change...but this is my opinion.
