An activist group was sued in Miami-Dade circuit court this week by a former employee, who has accused top officials of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now of violating a slew of election laws.Mac Stuart, of Opa-locka, has accused the organization, known as ACORN, of illegally copying voter registration applications and selling them to labor union groups, allowing people to sign petitions who were not registered voters and suppressing Republican voter registration applications. Stuart, who was assistant director of voter registration for the group, was fired in early August after being accused of trying to cash a paycheck that wasn't his. In the lawsuit, he claims he was fired only days after voicing his concerns about ACORN practices at a group meeting in late July.An attorney for ACORN, Faith Guy, said Stuart's former employers didn't engage in any wrongdoing and that it was Stuart engaging in election law violations.

If the libs somehow (pleae God no..) manage to illegally win this election, it may be time for something drastic. We cannot stand for an idealogical dictatorship. And why do most of the pundits talk about voter fraud with a chuckle? Isn't anybody else seriously concerned by what these people are trying to do and may get away with?
COMFORT ME PLEASE!!!!
ACORN
and they call conservatives 'nutjobs'. :-\
You may think I'm crazy, but I think the margin will be too wide for fraud to have any real impact.
Better?
ACORN is proud to be a partner with Circle of Life in the Activism is Patriotism campaign to empower everyday Americans to make a difference using their MINDS, MONEY, VOICES, and VOTES in this critical election year.
Circle of Life was founded in 1999 by environmental activist, Julia Butterfly Hill, who is most widely known for her successful two-year tree sit atop an ancient redwood named Luna. Based in Oakland, CA, Circle of Life inspires, educates and activates people to participate in creating a more just, sustainable and peaceful world. We create environmentally and socially conscious events, provide action support resources and distribute environmental education materials.
If we do not back down, F'n and the RATs cannot steal this election from us.
I don't think you're crazy... In fact, in all honesty I agree with you. When I look around I see amazing support for the President and I think, despite the annoyingly obvious hopes of the MSM, we may have a blowout on our hands. But that doesn't make this criminal activity right! My hope is we have an overwhelming victory and in the aftermatch proof of this voter fraud and it's connection to Terry McAwful and the DNC comes to light, opening the eyes of long-time, old-school Democrats to the truth about their party and driving a final stake into the heart of liberalism.
Too much to ask? I guy can dream.....
You don't need comforting. It IS that bad. The hard-core libs think Bush stole the last election, so they don't have a problem stealing this one.
And how many Federal judges have been prevented from even having a hearing?
Don't bet the farm on that one!
Democrats would have stolen the last one but Bush didn't give them the opportunity. That's really what they are mad about. They expected Bush to roll over -- same thought as the terrorists had. Both were wrong.
The Senate would pick VP. We could lose there, but I still like our chances.
It's only going to be a blowout if Bush supporters actually get out and vote. In the 2000 elections in Florida, there was a MILLION vote gap between voters who were polled and said they were voting for Bush, and actual votes on election day. While some of this may have been due to Dem voter fraud, a lot of it was later found to be simple laziness, a feeling that one vote doesn't matter, etc.
So make sure you and everybody you know - who's voting for Bush, that is - actually goes out and VOTES for him. If you have early voting in your state, in fact, vote now. (I voted for Bush on Monday...)
The thought of Kerry as VP in a Bush administration - I have to admit I see a certain humourous aspect of that.
Do you think the MSM would still complain about the VP being kept in an "undisclosed location"?
We survived EIGHT years of Clinton, and both the House and Senate went hard to the Right as a result. A *spit* Kerry Administration would keep that trend going strong, and would be powerless to accomplish much through the Congress. The Conservatives on the Supreme Court would watch their health and not retire for another 4 years, and replacing the Liberals with Liberals does little to make things worse.
And how about this last one: It also means Hillary will likely never be elected.
OK but there's nothing humorous about the heightened prospect of assassination attempts on the president...
Not as comforting, to have to think of kind of evil, but it was all I could come up with. =^/
Gee, is it too late to change my vote? (Just kidding - HONEST!!!)
If the states couldn't ratify their results, there's no way the Dems in Congress could filibuster on THAT responsibility. The country would go insane, and no Dem would win another election for a generation. It wouldn't be like blocking some Appellate Court judge that nobody ever heard of.
How can this sh** still be going on? Aren't the Pubbie lawyers doing anything to stop this?
